Each week throws off several new video game lists ranging from the humorous to the trivial. What’s better? A list of those. Here’s a roundup of the rundowns out there.

•Top 10 Embarrassingly Bad Moments In Video Game Marketing [Calm Down Tom] I thought for sure EA’s mailing of brass knuckles for The Godfather Part II – a violation of the law – or the “Sin to Win” booth babe fiasco later that year, would have made the list. Or DJ Ravi at E3 2008. But I gotta say, this is a rather uncrackable lineup of just plain dumb marketing moves.

•10 Badass Gaming Tattoos [Joystick Division] Speaking of tattoos, I think we’ve featured all of these tattoos as screengrabs at some point. Fahey and Mrs. Fahey’s his-n-hers Final Fantasy tats did not make the list.

•Top Ten Sexiest AI in Video Games [Ranker] You know that EDI (Tricia Helfer), Cortana and even GLaDOS (envisioned as a woman in bondage) would make this list, with EDI at No. 1. That leaves Shodan from System Shock at No. 2, and several other interesting selections. With pics, of course.

•8 Mortal Kombat Characters That Are Goofy Even By Mortal Kombat Standards [Topless Robot] Stryker, the cop first associated with the term “taser fatality,” is your runaway No. 1.

•The 25 Grisliest Video Game Death Animations [UGO] On that note, Mortal Kombat’s infamous spine and organ removal doesn’t make it anywhere in this list. Dragon’s Lair is a surprisingly low No. 16 – Dirk bit the dust in a number of gruesome ways, although I suppose they weren’t as grisly as the survival horror titles dominating the top 10.
