Jarrett Lee Conawayâs slick looking short film about fighting games in the future and the attractive teenagers who play them, Turbo, previously featured on Kotaku, is now live. Yours for the watching and, of course, buying!

The filmâs self described plot crafted âin the tradition of The Karate Kid and Tronâ couldnât be more accurate. And the visuals couldnât be sharper, with lens flare and special effects to spare. Itâs an impressive effort, especially considering Turboâs tight budget. Plus, itâs got the kid from Twilight, the one whoâs not a vampire. And who here doesnât love a little Twilight?
You can watch it here, or here, or grab the DVD, should you dig Turbo that much. Of course, if you donât dig it, you can give Conaway what-for in the comments. Heâs a Kotaku commenter too.
Wait a sec. Is Conaway referencing Japanese PlayStation burger restaurant simulator Burger Burger in this? Or is that just a happy coincidence? Iâll choose to believe the former, no matter what he says.
