Up on the Roof Winners

Last week, Stephen Totilo took you up on top of Nintendo of America’s roof to reveal quite the unusual growing operation there. We asked you to plant a couple acres of more funny on it. We’ve got the 20 best ‘Shop Contest submissions, plus winner Duck45, inside!

You’ll have to forgive me, I may not get all of these jokes. I do get AngryMachine (2) pitting Cole McGrath vs. Pikachu. And Chris Hayward (5), the first to do Duck Hunt, but good Lord, how big is Asshole Dog on the horizon there?

GiantBoyDetective (10) has Mario playing golf, what’s not to get about that. liniert99 (15) turned in a superb Minecraft homage. I bet you didn’t expect to see Shandy706 (18) on a boat. And musickid43 (17) has found Milo!

carlos226 (4) has Mario doing something that would get him fired from GameStop. jibla’s (13) is appropriate considering Microsoft’s proximity to Nintendo of America. SphessMahreen (19) has infinitely bad karma from now on.

Overall winners? You really need to magnify billysan’s (3) to see why he was in contention. Kronicus (14) made the obvious connection between Mario’s water jetpack and large growing operations. And Talyn (20) has some advice for where to take the direction of the 3DS. But I can’t pass up Duck45 (8) and his inspired look at what goes on up there at night.
