Stallion83, long the record holder for the highest Xbox gamerscore in the world, is on the cusp of something very special. He’s about to pass the one million points mark.

In 2010, he was on 500,000. A year later, 600,000, upon which he made a solemn vow: to reach one million. As of tonight, he’s on 999,705, agonisingly close to the magic number.
