They are building the life-sized Gundam—again! They being these folks in hardhats and overalls.

YouTube user Darwinfish105 is filming the whole thing. There’s a lot of footage here, broken into several parts. There’s also a lot of giant Gundam here, also broken into several parts.

The life-sized statue is expected to be completed next spring in Tokyo’s Odaiba and be on display until Spring 2013.
