Nagashima is a kick boxer and competes in Japanese combat sport K-1. When he enters the ring, he does it in style. Otaku style. The middleweight has been known to dress up as Reimu Hakurei, Eirin Yagokoro and Marisa Kirisame from bullet hell shooter Touhou Project or schoolgirl character Haruhi Suzumiya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, among other female characters.
His entourage is made up of young, cosplaying girls.
