âŠI totally forgot. Mrs. Bashcraft didnât! And she did a good job of reminding me of that. I spent the weekend minding my Ps and Qs. Wife was kind enough to forgive me (very grateful about that!), but promises to bring it up for the rest of our lives (doh).
We were able to spend a day together away from the kids and have a nice dinner. It was last minute and shame on me for not planning ahead, but it worked out, and we had a jolly good time.
So, yeah, I forgot an anniversary. I am officially âthat guy.â
Mother-in-lawâs advice: âAs soon as you get a calendar, write your anniversary and familyâs birthdays.â Words to live by!
