Last June, it was officially announced that Bruce Willis had signed on to play mercenary Adam āKaneā Marcus, who with batshit insane partner James Lynch is out to retrieve a stolen microchip.

Itās been rumored since fall 2008 that Willis would be joining the Kane & Lynch flick.
āThe script has been incredibly well-received around town,ā says producer Adrian Askarieh. āAfter Bruce Willis read it, he called it one of the best action scripts heās ever read, and Bruce is an expert in terms of action scripts because heās read everything over the last 20 years.ā Bruce Willis knows something good when he sees it!
According to Askarieh, the movie will have the ābasic premiseā of the game, but the details will be different. āItās not going to have every sequence from the game,ā he says, ābut itās essentially the story of a mercenary teaming up with a schizophrenic psychopath to save his wife and daughter.ā
Kane & Lynch will be filmed in South America, Europe and possibly Louisiana ā āWe havenāt locked down our locations,ā notes the producer.
Askarieh is working on a film version of Just Cause as well as a sequel to the first Hitman movie.
