Nintendo has registered several trademarks in Japan, including the titles 3D Challenge, 3D Paddleball or 3D Hopper. Those could be actual games (mini-games?) or they could be tech demos for the upcoming 3D-glasses-free Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendo also registered CrossPass, CrossPass Mode, CrossPass Network, and CrossPass Connection, which sound as though they are related to the Nintendo 3DS’s network features. Regardless of the game they are playing, 3DS players can connect with fellow players and exchange data when they walk by them. Until now, this mode has been referred to as “Tag Mode” in English. Could “CrossPass” be the same thing or somehow related?
