How about a productive member of society? Splitting up the dynamic duo from A Boy and His Blob seems to have worked out for at least one of them.
Would you trade the ability to transform into a ladder, a rocket, a trampoline, or any number of helpful objects for a chance at a normal life, complete with a loving therapist, bulging pecs, and polo shirts? Boy might have been an enabler, but what he enabled was a great deal more exciting than the life he held back.
Besides, trailer parks are full of adventure and magic.
