Given the planetās lack of actual post-apocalyptic nuclear wastelands, youād think it would be pretty hard to find places that looked like the setting of a Fallout game. But then, thereās always the Mojave desert and Route 66 for that.
Photographer Kevin Balluffā whose work I came across while flipping through the excellent Our Modern Ruins on Flipboard ā has taken a series of photosthat look like you could stroll right through them in Fallout: New Vegas, talking to/killing everything in your path.
The destruction, the desolation, the 50s Americana, even the abandoned military installations, itās all there. Of course, this kind of stuff was a big inspiration for the design of New Vegas in the first place, so saying the photoslook like the game is almost going in reverse!
