Turns out Ubisoft “has been totally re-engineering the product”, Guillemot revealed last week. Which means most previous work was scrapped when the game moved engines, from…whatever had been powering it to the same engine under the good of the upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Onwards and upwards, then, for the game with the new engine and the promise that, yes, it’s still actually being worked on.
