Back in the day, there were plenty of 8- and 16-bit video games about Batman. But none of them retold the story of Christopher Nolanâs 2008 Bat-sterpiece The Dark Knight
Here, from CineFixâs 8-Bit Cinema, is a re-creation of what just such a game would look like. I always enjoy how these guysâ videos re-create a filmâs histrionic climaxes in such low-key, matter-of-fact ways. (And yeah, despite their series name, this video looks more 16-bit than 8-bit. And â16-Bit Cinemaâ is even a soothingly sibilant alliteration! Oh, well.)
