Wizard World Comic Con Becomes Superfriends With Gaming Show

Phillyā€™s Wizard World is one of the biggest comic conventions in the world. And is about to get even bigger, with news itā€™s joining forces with the Video Game Expo.

Otherwise known as VGXPO, itā€™s certainly no E3, but it is still the East Coastā€™s largest video game show. The deal ā€“ which effectively shares content between WW in June and VGXPO in October ā€“ will see ā€œtens of thousands of square feetā€ of video game-related content added to Wizard Worldā€™s floorspace, while in return, Wizard World will be sending comics stuff to VGXPO.

For interested East Coasters, Wizard World Philadelphia will take place June 19-21, while VGXPO will go down between October 9-11. Both will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
