Much like the US in recent months, in Europe the Xbox 360 has been bucking the 2009 trend of downward sales, registering positive sales growth as it moves past the 9 million sold barrier.
Thatâs according to Xbox Europeâs Chris Lewis, at any rate, who says that so far in 2009 the 360 is the only console in the region to sell more consoles than had this time last year, giving it a 27% market share of the âconsole marketâ.
Presumably he means the three home consoles, so weâd imagine the Wiiâs percentage is close to, if not over, the 50% mark.
