The release dates weâve been hearing for StarCraft II have been fourth quarter 2009. In an interview with Swedish game site Press2play.TV, StarCraft II lead designer Chris Sigaty saysâŚ
âŚthat Blizzard is going to try to get the game out this year. âHowever,â he adds, âweâre not going to ship the game if itâs not ready.â Blizzard is working hard to get the game out the door, but wonât put out an unfinished title.
This pretty much confirms what Blizzard exec Mike Morhaime said earlier this month, which is that the developer is trying to get the real-time-strategy game out the door this year.
Hopefully the next time Blizzard is asked about the release date, it will say sometime this year!
