The people at YouTube have given us a list of their top 10 trending games from April 2015—that is, the games that saw the best improvements in number of videos uploaded and increase in watchtime. Some are upcoming games. You won’t guess the last one.
Here’s the “trending” top 10 for April:
Mortal Kombat X
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
Bloodborne
Killing Floor 2
MLB 15: The Show
Star Wars Battlefront (the upcoming 2015 one)
The Witcher 3
Pokémon Rumble World
Neverwinter
Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel
If that last one seems strange to you, do factor in that it was free in April as part of Microsoft’s Games with Gold program for paying Xbox Live users. People get excited about free games. Who knew?
