Even a month and a half later, describing what makes Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure so good still eludes me. The Zelda-like puzzle game manages to marry heartfelt storytelling with the instinctive, brain-scratching puzzle gameplay you’ll find in some of the genre’s best offerings. Arranger makes every step you take impactful as the world moves on a grid to your stride, pushing everything in your path with each input. Navigating through the world is its own puzzle, and every obstacle, enemy, and tool in your path are the pieces.
