Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 might look and sound like a big, fancy AAA video game from 2024, but it plays like an Xbox 360 game. And that’s a good thing. Space Marine 2’s campaign is the kind of experience we don’t get that often anymore: A big and explosive linear adventure with no sidequests to complete, gear to upgrade, or items to craft. In Space Marine 2 all you do is move forward, kill shit, and repeat. That might sound boring, but in reality, the game’s crunchy combat and responsive controls elevate the action and make it hard to put down. If you miss big expensive single-player campaigns like we got during the Xbox 360 era, then Space Marine 2 is worth checking out. – Zack Zwiezen
