Lego’s New $400 Star Trek Enterprise Will Boldly Take You Back To The ’90s

The previously teased starship will be available at the end of the month and includes nine minifigs

After years of fans asking Lego to design and sell a Star Trek set, the toy brick company has finally, officially, done it. Following some teasing in September and leaks before that, Lego has announced Set 10356: The Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D.

On November 6, Lego revealed the first images for the Enterprise D set and confirmed other details about the long-awaited starship. Based on the ship seen in the series Star Trek: The Next Generation, Lego’s Enterprise D is made up of 3,600 pieces and contains nine minifigs based on characters from the ’90s sci-fi show like Jean-Luc Picard, Worf, and Data. You’ll be able to buy this massive Star Trek set on November 28, and in the United States it will cost $400.

The ship is 10 inches tall, 18 inches wide, and 23 inches long, and comes with a display stand so you can set it up on your shelf easily. And yes, you can separate the saucer section from the main hull thanks to the magic of Lego.

This first-ever Lego Star Trek set will be exclusively available at Lego stores and the toy company’s website.

The nine Lego mini-figures included are: Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander William Riker, Lieutenant Worf, Lieutenant Commander Data, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge, Counsellor Deanna Troi, Bartender Guinan, and Wesley Crusher.

There’s also a tenth mini fig available to those who purchase the Enterprise set between November 28 and December 1: Ro Laren. She’s included as part of a smaller set based on the shuttlepod often seen in Star Trek TNG episodes, which is an exclusive “Gift with Purchase.”
