Pentiment

As I said in my impressions of Pentiment back in November, this is a game that deserves to be held in the hands. Pentiment’s artstyle is modeled off of old medieval manuscripts and wood carvings, so while it looks great on a big screen, being able to actually physically hold the game in your hands helps to sell its premise.

Pentiment is also a really chill game to play since you spend most of your time talking with folks. You’ll also spend a ton of time reading all those conversations with some memorable and excellent characters, so being able to kick back on a couch or a bed really helps the experience feel all the more cozy.
