Dead Space (Remake)
Dead Space’s faithful 2023 remake adds to the Steam Deck’s delightful dose of 2000s-era horror games. Not only does the remake of this stompy classic run pretty darn well on Steam Deck, it honestly seems scarier in this form factor. On the smaller screen, the Ishimura feels more claustrophobic than ever before. And if you use either gyro or touchpad aiming, dismemberment can feel even more precise. I recommend using a good set of headphones so the sounds of necromorphs crawling through the vents unnerves you even more.
