Get your credit cards ready and wallets open. Nintendo’s eShop Holiday Sale is live now and features a lot of great deals on some big Switch 2 games. But if you were looking to buy Cyberpunk 2077 for cheap, well, bad news…
The big star of all the deals was originally Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2, which was marked down from $70 to $17.50. It was a discount so big that deals guru Wario64 was seemingly worried it might be a glitch until a press release confirmed it was real. Or so we thought. About 12 hours after the deal went live, it was gone from the eShop, and now Cyberpunk 2077 is back up to full price. If you grabbed it at the discount, I hope developers CDPR and Nintendo don’t force any refunds, and you get to keep your lucky Christmas gift.
For everyone else, from now until January 5, there are plenty of other big deals and games included in Nintendo’s end-of-the-year holiday sale, including discounts on RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Silksong, and Star Wars: Outlaws, which is another impressive Switch 2 port that even supports cross-saves across all platforms.
