We have known for some time now that Microsoft has been trying to get a Gears of War movie off the ground, but it seemed to keep stalling out. But finally, on November 7, 2022, Netflix confirmed that it was working on a Gears of War movie and an “adult animated” show, too. We know basically nothing about what the movie or the TV show will be about (or when it will be released…) but I expect some guns and chest-high walls. Perhaps Dave Bautista will finally get to play Marcus Fenix after years of campaigning for it online.
